Chapter 1: General Provisions

The core of the United Nations International Youth Organization is rooted in the UN’s World Youth Action Agenda, emphasizing inclusivity, sustainability, equality, and youth participation. Aligned with UN core documents, the organization values closely relate to the UN’s major agendas, focusing on youth and adolescents. It aims to promote inclusivity, sustainability, equality, participation, and innovation globally, contributing to the realization of the UN’s vision and goals. The International Youth Organization focuses on building a comprehensive platform for youth development, learning, and participation in global processes.

To actively respond to the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, the International Youth Organization creates an inclusive environment for youth to participate equally in societal, educational, and cultural activities, fostering intergenerational understanding and cooperation. The organization encourages youth engagement in innovative fields, including arts, science, and technology, cultivating their potential in technology, social innovation, and entrepreneurship. The Space Visionaries Competition is organized to provide an international platform for exchange and learning, supported by top international universities, academic institutions, and social media.

The development of space technology holds profound significance for human society, especially from an educational and humanistic perspective. Space exploration offers a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding of the universe, addressing complex physics, astronomy, and fundamental questions about life’s origins and cosmic evolution.

In education, space exploration inspires interest in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). It provides rich teaching materials and experimental platforms, fostering scientific thinking and innovation. Educational initiatives related to space exploration, such as simulating space missions and astronomical observations, enable students to comprehend complex scientific concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and foster teamwork.

Additionally, space exploration significantly influences human culture and philosophy, showcasing human wisdom and courage. It prompts profound reflections on our position and purpose in the universe. The magnificence and achievements of space exploration inspire the imagination and curiosity of the public, especially the younger generation, encouraging them to pursue knowledge and innovation.

The development of space technology not only signifies progress in science and technology but also embodies human curiosity and the spirit of exploration into the unknown. It plays a crucial role in education and human culture, continually propelling our society forward. As technology advances, future space exploration will continue to inspire a new generation of scientists and explorers, opening new chapters in human knowledge and civilization.

The Space Visionaries Competition represents the International Youth Organization’s expectations and vision for space development, covering various aspects: promoting the accessibility of space travel, exploring deep space, fostering space technology innovation, and advancing propulsion, life support systems, and communication technology. These visions not only drive technological progress but also provide a common goal for humanity, sparking generations’ imagination and exploration spirit. Through the Space Visionaries Competition, the International Youth Organization aims to deepen mutual understanding, promote international ecological construction of youth science, culture, and innovation, and contribute to further cooperation in global education technology.
